You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream

Yes, you heard me correct. No not the ice cream you get from the grocery stores, or the ice cream truck that comes through a neighbourhood, and have kids running towards it, selecting their favourite flavour of ice cream.

What I am talking about is Google's upcoming Operating System - Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. To top it off, Samsung is also releasing their device - the Galaxy Nexus formerly known as the Nexus Prime.

All of us Android lovers out there or even first time Android users will get to know more about the Galaxy Nexus and ICS as of tomorrow 9:30PM EST or whenever depending on your time zone. Google/Samsung were initially supposed to have the event on the 11th of October, 2011 but due to several reasons, they had to push it back to the 19th of this month in Hong Kong.

You might or may not know but the supposed specs of the Galaxy Nexus are: A 4.65-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720, possibly an Exynos 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel with 1080p HD video-shooting camera, a 2050mAh, LTE-enabled and possibly a dual-mode GSM/CDMA radio"

That itself makes my spine tingle with joy, which is a good thing. The event will take place with the following times*:

04:00PM - Hawaii (October 18th)
07:00PM - Pacific (October 18th)
08:00PM - Mountain (October 18th)
09:00PM - Central (October 18th)
10:00PM - Eastern (October 18th)
03:00AM - London (October 19th)
04:00AM - Paris (October 19th)
06:00AM - Moscow (October 19th)
11:00AM - Tokyo (October 19th)

Remember to mark your calendars, sit back and enjoy. Oh and try not to drool please, otherwise you'd have to clean up after yourself, and we don't want that to happen.

Cheers,
